1300 ton Hot forging press Massey
Massey 1300 ton hot forging press is a heavy-duty forging machine for impression die forging, trimming-ready preforms and high-throughput hot forging operations. With a 254 mm stroke and 90 spm, it is suitable for demanding production lines where consistent energy delivery, rigid frame guidance and stable ram movement are critical for repeatable part quality.

This Massey hot forging press is designed for high-load hot forming where fast cycling and controlled stroke are required. In many forging shops, presses in the 1000–1600 ton class are used to produce automotive and industrial components such as flanges, yokes, rings and heavy housings. The press layout supports operations like blocking, finishing, sizing and controlled forging sequences, with the ram stroke and daylight defining the working window.
The combination of 90 strokes per minute and a 50 kW drive indicates a machine intended for production forging rather than occasional jobbing work. Robust crank and eccentric elements (journal and shaft diameters) improve stiffness under peak forging loads, helping maintain die alignment and reduce tool wear. For export projects, we can support inspection, dismantling, loading, packing and documentation.
